The 2014 Gifford Lecture Series at the University of Glasgow is entitled Givenness and Revelation. It will be delivered in May by Jean-Luc Marion.

Wednesday, 21 May 2014: Understanding revelation: a phenomenological reappropriation
Tuesday, 27 May 2014: Christ as saturated phenomenon: the Icon of the invisible
Wednesday, 28 May 2014: Trinity as a logic of manifestation

A reception will follow the final lecture. All lectures are free and open to the public however pre-registration is essential

Andrew Thomas Greeley and Grace McNichols Greeley Professor of Catholic Studies and Professor of the Philosophy of Religions and Theology, University of Chicago

Jean-Luc Marion is the John Nuveen Professor in the Divinity School, Philosophy, and Social Thought. He studies both the history of modern philosophy and contemporary phenomenology.
